Mundong Maraming Mukha

Ang mundo ay hindi
nagbago, dumami lang
ang kanyang mga mukha.

Hindi na kailangan ng papel
para makasulat ng libro o
kwento tulad sa hindi na rin
kailangan ng entablado para
makapanood ng palabas.

Pwede mo nang ipahayag
ang malasakit sa kalikasan gamit
ang iyong makinang de baterya,
makasama ang mga taong
hindi mo nahahawakan.

Matamis na pagkain pero walang
asukal, masarap na kape pero
hindi nakakawala ng antok,
alak na hindi nakakalasing
para sa mas mahabang inuman.

Binabandera ang kalayaan
ng bawat isa; nagdidikta ng
kanyang tadhana.
Sinasamba ang indibiduwal,
saka pinapakita ang digmaan,
mga unos, at katiwalian
sa sistema.

Ang mundong maraming mukha
ay pupurihin ka kung gaano
ka kalaki saka ipapadama
kung gaano ka kaliit.

Ang mundo ay hindi nagbago
dahil tulad noon ang mga
panaginip na natutupad ay
yung sama-samang
pinaghihirapan.

Ang mundong maraming mukha
ay hindi naagnas o nagigiba
sa halip ito’y sumasanib at lumiliit
na wala ring masyadog pinagkaiba
sa nauna.

Sa mundong maraming mukha,
ang kamatayan ng mga bituin,
ay lumang balita.
