The members of the Congress of Teachers/Educators for Nationalism and Democracy, UP Diliman honour today all the people’s martyrs who sacrificed their lives during Martial Law. We pay tribute to all the activists, especially to our fellow educators and teachers as well as the countless students, who selflessly dedicated their lives to fight the dictatorship. We thank them by remembering how they kept alive the hope of the Filipino people in the darkest hour of our nation’s history. And we pledge our continuing commitment to continue the struggle they resolutely started.
